I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with parents, adults, young adults/adolescents, children, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, loss, and self-esteem/self-confidence. In addition to working with individuals I also work with couples and families in need of improving communication and learning to navigate and take better care of their relationships.

I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work (BSW) and received my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland. I have been a Licensed Certified Social Worker- Clinical (LCSW-C) since 1998. I have worked as a clinical social worker in variety therapeutic and supportive settings including a community mental health center working with adults, children, couples and families, the Head Start Program, P.A.C.E (Parenting and Childhood Education) leading groups for new moms helping them navigate the transition to parenthood and the postpartum experience as well as working in a residential treatment center and at Child Protective Services.

My approach is to assess your needs and what you want out of therapy and provide a positive, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can work on those challenges to help you write your own narrative and create positive changes.

In addition to therapy I offer parent coaching, school observations/ support.
